"Cinema is simply a matter of what's in the frame, and what's out." - Martin Scorsese
Rules of Engagement:
1. Respect the opinions of the people on the blog and the filmmakers who's films we are talking about.
2. Be careful with your spoilers. Try to avoid spoiling the movie for others. If you post something that might involve heavy plot details be sure to mark it with spoiler tag in big bold letters like so: ***SPOILERS***
3. If you start a new topic, please attempt to write out something full. It doesn't have to be a full review of the film, but at least enough to get a discussion going.
4. Have fun! We want to hear your opinions! Post as much as you see fit!
I haven't seen this particular film yet, but in my opinion the current generation of 3D viewing technology is good enough to warrant you spending the few extra bucks to see it that way.
I forgot I had started this post, Sorry kids I got a little busy with life, but now that I am back to being bored, I am writing rediculous run on sentences with gramatical, and spelling errors, so suck it. I did see this movie in theaters, and I enjoyed it for what it was. I thought it was an interesting adaptation of a classic story. I really didn't feel like it had anything new to the story, it was just a more high tech version. I enjoy a Tim Burton film probably more than the next guy, but he needs to get back into doing original pieces in my opinion.
I saw it and it lived up to my expectations. I might be Tim Burton biased though.
ReplyDeleteHow'd the 3D look Anita? I'm pretty interested to see it still, just still on the line on whether I wanna pay for it or not.
ReplyDeleteYea I am really looking forward to seeing it but I do not know whether I should see it in 3D or in a regular CINEMA...

ReplyDeleteI would recommend seeing it in 3D. It would seem like just another animation if you don't in my opinion.
